We want everyone to be able to use this site, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, magnification or other assistive technology. If something doesn't work for you, tell us and we'll fix it.
Our standard
We design and build this site to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, the standard most widely used for websites in the United States.
What we've done
- Every page and every interactive example can be used with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline.
- A "Skip to content" link at the top of each page.
- Text and controls meet WCAG contrast ratios.
- Headings, landmarks and labels are marked up so screen readers can navigate the page.
- Form fields have visible labels, and errors are announced and explained in words.
- Pages work when zoomed to 200% and on small screens without sideways scrolling.
- Animation is limited, and turned off if your device is set to reduce motion.
- No time limits, flashing content or auto-playing audio.
How we check
We test with automated accessibility checks and by hand with a keyboard and screen readers, and re-check whenever the site changes.
Known limitations
- The schedule example on the home page uses drag and drop. Keyboard users can move a job to the next day by pressing Enter on it.
- The revenue chart example can be explored with the left and right arrow keys. Its figures are fictional and are also read out as text above the chart.
